ANOTHER SHORT-TERM DELAY FOR 21% CUT IN PHYICIAN MEDICARE PAYMENTS

Late Thursday, the President signed legislation that will provide another temporary fix postponing a 21% reduction in Medicare reimbursement to physicians until June 1, 2010. Congress is expected to take up legislation to extend the current payment rate until October 1, 2010.
